Explicit Consent Statement

1. Subject of the consent

The health data you share with our clinic are special categories of personal data under Article 6 of KVKK. Explicit consent is not required where such data are processed for diagnosis and treatment by healthcare personnel bound by a duty of confidentiality.

In other situations — for example communication through infrastructure located abroad for international patient coordination — the processing of your data rests on your explicit consent.

2. Processing covered by consent

• Review of the information you share about your complaints for the purpose of preliminary assessment.
• Keeping the relevant records in order to conduct treatment and travel planning.
• Where necessary, transferring your data to service-provider infrastructure located abroad.

3. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw the explicit consent you have given at any time, without giving any reason. A withdrawal request takes effect prospectively from the moment it reaches us.

Withdrawal does not affect the validity of processing lawfully carried out before the date of withdrawal.

4. Consequences of not consenting

If you do not give explicit consent, only the processing that depends on consent cannot be carried out. This does not prevent you from receiving diagnosis and treatment services; those services continue to be provided on the other legal grounds set out in the legislation.
